After Emmanuel was notably absent when friends and fans handed Liquorose multiple gifts on her 27th birthday, the reality TV stars began to drop hints about a probable breakup.
Fans of the reality TV personality known as EmmaRose shippers descended on Liquorose’s home earlier this month with a variety of gifts, including a car and other items.
Emmanuel, who had always been by his girlfriend’s side, was not present.
After being a no-show at Liquorose’s birthday party, he finally hit the nail on the head.
He also didn’t mention her on any of his social media accounts.
Some of the reality TV show’s former housemates attended the party.
On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, things took a turn for the worst after EmmaRose shippers shared a screenshot demonstrating their resolve since the ship had sunk.
Fans gathered millions of naira for the former couple in a message that has now gone viral, but have yet to offer it to them due to the tragic turn of events.
“Unfortunately due to back and forth going on for weeks now. As much as we respect our faves, we also respect every single person that sacrificed out of love to make this a success,” part of the statement read.
The money earned will be split in half, according to the shippers, because the reality TV stars have gone their separate ways.
The shippers raised N19.7 million.
During the sixth season of the reality show, Liquorose and Emmanuel met.
Their followers viewed their love as both beautiful and fierce.
After the show, Emmanuel claimed that he was in love with Liquorose in an interview with Toke Makinwa.
Many observers, however, claimed that the relationship was one-sided, a claim that the EmmaRose shippers vehemently refuted.
