Since returning to djing, Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, often known as DJ Cuppy, has been completely diverted from school.
In 2021, Cuppy was accepted to the elite University of Oxford.
The rich heiress stated she had forgotten about her academics because of the numerous gigs she has been getting recently in a post uploaded via her Instagram stories on Sunday, April 17, 2022.
“I can’t even lie…Since I started djing again and taking on projects and bookings I have genuinely forgotten that I am indeed still a full-time student as Oxford university and have a whole research thesis due this summer,” she wrote.
Cuppy claims that she needs to remind her team of the importance of her studies.
“I have to keep reminding myself and my team that music cannot get in the way of school. Damn.”
She got accepted into the prestigious university in March 2022, as you may recall.
This is the singer’s second master’s degree in the last six years.
Cuppy graduated from New York University with a master’s degree in music business in 2015.
She is one of the most powerful disc jockeys in Nigeria.
